Key Market Highlights: 

• In Bahrain, as of January 2022, there were over 1.75 million internet users with an internet penetration rate of around 99%, and around 85% of the population using the internet is using social media. 
• Bahrain was among the first countries in the Middle East to adopt the nationwide ‘cloud-first’ policy in 2017. This adoption has created opportunities for the country in several fields, including outsourcing, cybersecurity, digital entertainment, and e-commerce.
